We caught up with Presley Alexander, an actor who is making waves with a breakout role in the highly anticipated Amazon/MGM’s The Accountant 2, starring Ben Affleck [out April 25, 2025]. At just 19, Presley—a queer, non-binary, and autistic actor—brings authenticity and emotional depth to the role of Lane, a neurodivergent hacker trained at the elite Harbor Neuroscience Academy. Cast in this project through a diversity-forward initiative, Presley’s involvement marks a pivotal step in pushing accurate, inclusive storytelling into the mainstream.
In The Accountant 2, which premiered to strong critical and audience acclaim at SXSW 2025, Presley worked closely with director Gavin O’Connor to shape Lane into a fully realized character informed by lived experience—creating a deeply human performance.
Presley’s journey in the industry began at the young age of 7, launching the YouTube channel ActOutGames, where they gained national recognition for candid, intelligent videos on science, LGBTQ+ identity, and mental health.
They came out publicly at 11, becoming a celebrated Gen-Z voice for queer youth and contributing to the It Gets Better movement. On-screen, Presley has appeared in highly-praised roles on productions including This Is Us (NBC), 9-1-1 (FOX), Christmas Angel, and the virtual production sci-fi comedy Fathead. Outside of acting, Presley is a passionate entomologist, speaks conversational Japanese, and graduated high school at 14 with multiple associate degrees in journalism, psychology, and astronomy by just sixteen. They currently run the Coleopterist Society’s Instagram account and often draw parallels between misunderstood insects and their own experiences navigating a neurotypical world. Smart, bold, and radically honest, Presley Alexander is quickly becoming a standout voice for the next generation of young actors.
