Position: Purchase Ledger Administrator (Temporary)

Location: Whitburn, West Lothian

Hourly Rate: £11.77

Hours: 40 hours per weekSchedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Duration: 4 weeks, with the potential for extension

Role Overview:

STEM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator for a temporary role in Whitburn, West Lothian. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment, with the possibility of extending the contract beyond the initial four weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and match them with purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
  • Handle supplier queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end closing processes
  • Support the finance team with other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
