    As a Bid Manager you
    will play a key role in the preparation of Technical and Commercial Proposals
    for New Equipment. You will also be involved in supporting the organization in
    deal closing and Client opportunity discussions.

    You will develop
    technical solutions using Siemens Energy application tools and processes. In
    addition, you will also develop commercial offerings within the pricing
    guidelines and commercial governance requirements of Siemens Energy. This is a
    unique opportunity to work as part of a global team that develops technical
    solutions and written proposals that instill confidence within Clients,
    distinguish us favorably from our competition, and win new business for Siemens
    Energy.


    How You’ll Make an
    Impact

    • Review & interpret client requisitions &
      specifications for Americas projects;
    • Develop Siemens Energy equipment solutions;
    • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Cost Estimating,
      Engineering & Supply Chain to prepare Technnial & Commercial proposals
      meeting client requirements;
    • Participate in internal & client Kick-Off Meetings.

    What you Bring

    ·                    
    Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Petrochecmical or
    Chemical Engineering Degree from an accredited higher education institution or
    equivalent work experience, with at least 8 years
    of experience in a relevant role;

    ·                    
    Relevant
    roles include Application Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Process Engineer,
    Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Commissioning/Field Engineer, with a
    concentration in turbo- machinery or related rotating equipment – e.g.,
    Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines, etc.;

    Problem solving & critical thinking skills;

    Excellent written & verbal communication skills in
    English.

    About the team

    The Americas Bid Management Team is
    responsible for preparing Technical & Commercial proposals for Americas
    clients (End Users, EPCs, etc.) on new equipment projects using Centrifugal
    Compressors, Motors, etc., for Decarbonization, Hydrogen, Upstream, Midstream,
    and Downstream applications within the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical
    markets.
