    Housing is a top priority for Hackney. Ensuring that we deliver a high quality, customer focussed repairs service across our 30,000 homes is paramount. We have recently remodelled our repairs service to match our aspirations and are now looking for exceptional staff who can help us deliver a high quality, customer responsive culture.

    As a Business Support Officer within our repairs service, you will take a lead on responding to operational issues, and manage complex repairs cases to successful completion. You will also support a wide variety of projects to improve the way we work and drive up resident satisfaction. Experience of managing a complex workload to tight deadlines and a strong commitment to customer service are essential.

    To excel in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator with an ability to forge strong working relationships with residents, contractors and senior officers. You must be adept at dealing with challenging situations in a sensitive manner and be able to use IT systems effectively. Ideally you will already have experience of complex repairs management. Most importantly you will demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm needed to deliver excellent services that meet our residents’ needs.
