    We are looking to appoint a Lead Buying Coordinator in the Booker Retail Partners to support the Trading Category, Budgens /Londis independent retailers and national account customers. This role will be located in the Watford Support Centre for office based working days and is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop a career their career with new skills and knowledge within the Trading Team.  

    In this role you will be a pivotal part of Trading team, supporting our customers and Category Managers to ensure that the Trading administration on product set-up, pricing and promotions is accurate and timely. In addition to working closely with the Category Managers to support the delivery of sales and cash profit you will also have to build strong working relationships with our suppliers and internally across many different business functions.  As well as leading, managing and developing a great team of three Buying Co-ordinators, in this role you can expect to deal with day-to-day queries from the Category Teams, TST Promotions Team, Product Supply and Finance as well as Budgens and Londis Operations teams and National Account Operations Teams.

    Working in the Trading Team is fast paced with tight deadlines so you will need to enjoy working within this type of environment and be able to effectively multi-task and work under pressure. The variety of work, managing a team and working across many functions will provide a great opportunity for you to learn and develop. Your commercial experience and knowledge of the business will expand giving you a strong platform to progress into other areas/roles e.g. Category Manager Designate/Category Manager.
