We currently have a fantastic opportunity for Field Service Technician to join our team. Working on site and at various operational locations throughout Australia, the successful candidate will take a lead role in scheduled and breakdown maintenance of both OEM and non-OEM Compressors. You will be required to carry out all day-to-day field service, maintenance and/or installation activities with minimal direction ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards while leading by example.

Your profile
- A qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Engineer
- Compressor maintenance experience which is an essential requirement for this role
- Solid understanding and experience on centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, and / or large electrical drives is beneficial experience but not necessary
- Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility and ownership
- Full working rights in Australia with a valid Australian driver’s licence
- Ability and willingness to work on remote/offshore locations for periods of time
Your responsibilities
- Complete operational and preventative maintenance, any updates/upgrades, corrective service, installations and/or workshop repairs
- Supervision of trades personnel (Mechanical Fitters, Crane Drivers, Riggers & Trades Assistants) to ensure safe and quality completion of work scopes is required.
- Facilitating technical support to the customer, including recommending solutions based on a thorough understanding of the customer’s needs
- Assistance in tendering for service contracts or new plant contracts
