Threat hunters
play a critical role in combatting cybercrime by being at the forefront of the
battle. A day in the life of a threat hunter is never dull, as each day
presents unique challenges, no two days are the same. Threat hunters are
constantly monitoring for any suspicious activity and are always prepared to
take actions related to suspicious activity in order to defend the environment
of Siemens Energy globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform threat
  hunting activities using multiple kinds of data sources
• Research and simulate adversaries’ tactics, techniques
  and procedures
• Research on the latest trends in malware and
  sophisticated attacks.
• Review threat data from various threat intelligence
  sources, develop custom signatures and threat hunting hypotheses
• Monitor Siemens Energy public exposure to detect signs of
  critical disclosure, exposed credentials, and adversary activities
• Collect, organize, analyze, and refine information about
  known and emerging cyber security threats, including novel tactics, techniques,
  and procedures (TTPs) used by attackers to potentially target Siemens Energy
  business.
• Collaborate with Incident Management team, translating
  raw sensor data, reports, and other intelligence feeds into useful intelligence
  to drive proactive measures and appropriately prioritize response activities.
• Continuously
  collaborate with other members of Cybersecurity Team, Assurance &
  Resilience, Security Monitoring and Threat Intelligence to further develop
  detection capabilities.

What You Bring

• University
  degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a comparable education.
• Professional
  experience of 3-5 years in Cybersecurity.
• You are
  certified within Cybersecurity (SSCP, GSEC, CISSP, CASP, GCTI or similar)
• You have
  experience with security technologies related to the SOC, at the minimum
  SIEM,EDR and TIP
• You are
  confident and assertive. With your friendly but driven way, you’re able to
  clearly communicate to people in your target group as well as to senior
  management.
• Good
  understanding of cyber security landscape and TTPs.
• Work will
  sometimes require working after hours in case of an incident.
• You are open
  for new experiences and challenges to support the Cybersecurity ecosystem and
  its technology interface.
• You work
  closely in global networks, identifying trends and bring innovation in the
  field.
• As you act in
  an international environment, you bring business-fluent English language skills
