    Description:
    To create engineering drawings, 3-D models, assemblies using NX 1899 (v NX1907) and GloBus Teamcenter 12 to support drawing conversion, spare parts catalog, revision of drawings for Steam Turbine components & assemblies in compliance to Siemens Energy Business. To provide back-office engineering support for engineering, drafting, 3D Catalogs and document control activities for different D-R/Siemens operations globally
    Responsibilities:
    Create 3-D models and drawings of components / assemblies for D-R/Siemens Steam Turbines
    Convert old 2-D drawings to 3-D models using NX11/NX1899
    Should be conversant with steam turbine constructional details
    Hands on experience in 3D modeling and drawing for steampath components like bucket, wheel, diaphragm, shaft, rotor assembly
    Parametric modeling, Expression based modeling, Part families, Wave-Link Geometry
    Advanced Assembly features, Handle large assemblies in NX, Assembly arrangements
    To perform Form, Fit & Functional Check for the complete assembly as per business needs
    Responsible to perform all legacy data clean up tasks in NX-GloBus Teamcenter as needed by business
    Follow D-R/Siemens engineering & drafting standard practices; Provide drawing updation and revision control
    Migrate original Metric revision drawings into NX as per latest drafting practices.
    Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by the Team Leader/Manager
    Handle in confidence the drawings and / or trade secret information of D-R/Siemens products.
    Drawings inch to metric conversion, German to English translation, creating part structure in GloBus Teamcenter 12
    Support productivity improvement and establish best practices for modeling and drafting activities within stipulated time-period.
    Recording and tracking of engineering hours utilized for various projects.
    Electronic transfer of drawings, documents, and data with D-R Global Operations
    Exposure to Oracle and/or SAP BoM will be added advantage
    Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent in years of rotating equipment experience
    Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Turbomachinery (Steam Turbine/Turbo Compressor/Gas Turbine/Reciprocating Compressor) including knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME, etc.)
    Knowledge of engineering document types, standards, and specifications, including the associated storage, retrieval, and revision methods.
    Ability to acquire proficiency in navigating legacy fleet information that may not be available electronically
    Experience with rotating equipment, terminologies, and applications, and has a sound background in engineering fundamentals
    Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
    Solid computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point) and basic 2D/3D software
    Proficiency with PLM (Team Center/Globus) and ERP system (SAP or Oracle)
    Strong soft personal skill i.e., team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.
    Preferred:
    Knowledge and understanding of Siemens / Dresser-Rand product and services
    Possess fundamental knowledge of turbomachinery theory and thorough understanding of standard repair principles
    Experience with machinery design, production and/or servicing
    Familiarity and experience with industry standards such as ASME and API
    Proven experience with spare parts catalog/e-catalog for any turbomachinery
