A Snapshot of Your Day
When you enter your workplace (may it be in the office or from a remote
location) you first check all new mails, chat messages, and other relevant communication
channels also to see whether there have been any security breaches you may address
with your colleagues urgently. If the latter is not the case, you make yourself
familiar with the latest security related developments also and especially outside
of the company to evaluate whether they may be of strategic relevance for your
work at Siemens Energy.
You then draw your attention to a recently added platform related demand
and work together with your peers on the analysis of security aspects, asses
the implied risks and how they can be mitigated to the maximum extend.
Following that you participate in alignment meetings with other global
functions like IT and CyberSecurity to optimize the today’s and tomorrow’s securitry
related process framework. As ED&AA has taken the responsibility for the
ACP process you continue to work on the classification methodology, covering
all relevant aspects as well as at the same time making sure the requirements
can be effectively and efficiently be implemented into SE’s ecosystem.
At the end of the day, you once again check all your communication
channels. There you find information about an upcoming new release of Tableau.
You look at the major new features and analyze how these can further improve
the value of the tool.
