A snapshot of your day
: In this role, you’ll lead by driving
manufacturing and repair processes, development, and improvement projects, and
collaborating with combustion design and repair engineering groups to innovate
new products. Your work will also impact society by helping to reduce the cost
of fabrication and machining of gas turbine combustion components using our
innovative manufacturing processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Utilizes process
knowledge, basic engineering principles, previous experience, and creativity,
as necessary to help develop and improve manufacturing processes that result in
the production of quality castings that conform to customer specifications and
meet desired lead times.
· Reads and understands
engineering procedures to ensure adherence and compliance to approved processes.
· Participates in plant
initiatives to support the reduction of scrap and overall casting costs.
Initiatives include but are not limited to daily production meetings, NPI
review meetings, and special participation in cost improvement teams.
· Performs metal rework
required to eliminate typical defects observed on casting surface (Benching,
Sandblast, FPI Rework, etc.).
· Proficient in operating
Surface Polishing Vibratory equipment and will complete all required
manufacturing documentation in Mercury.
· Collaborates to improve
ergonomics and safety conditions of assigned areas and will wear all required
personal protective equipment.
What You Bring
· High school diploma or
general education degree (GED) Required.
· Previous related
manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero
or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam
turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service
offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
