Manufacturing Technician – Machine Operator 2nd Shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm

    A Snapshot of Your Day

    The Manufacturing Technician performs manufacturing tasks, on the Gibsonton Florida Plant, to help produce parts for gas turbine engines such as, materials mixing, machinery operation, data capture and analysis. Primarily responsible for the molding, machining, and manual finishing processes.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Cleaning and preparation of molds for use with ceramic slurries and casting or curing of ceramic materials in molds while closely adhering to required process parameters.
    • De-molding and inspection of parts.
    • Process data gathering and providing process feedback to management.
    • May include hand finishing of parts with powered or manual finishing tools, grinders, files, etc.
    • Use manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to manufacture products in accordance with customer specifications, company policy and safety regulations.
    • Actively support product definition/design changes within manufacturing.
    • Light maintenance duties and cleaning will be assigned as part of the proper care and safe operation of your work center.

    What You Bring (requirements)

    • HS Diploma or GED required and up to 1 year experience in related field.
    • Attendance and Punctuality
    • Quality: accuracy and thoroughness in work performed looking for ways to improve 
    • Quantity: Meets productivity standards, completes work in a timely manner and strives to increase efficiency.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
