A great opportunity for a Network Engineer (eSC or DV) to be a part of a key project transforming Defence Technology Services with cutting-edge digital solutions and innovative technology. If you’re a Cisco-focused network professional holding SC or DV clearance this role can be your next technical challenge.Working in a hybrid capacity
on a very secure site (eSC or DV Clearance required) based in Blackpool 2 days a week.Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, routing, IPS)
- Leverage your knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or OCI)
- Collaborate with various departments to meet network requirements
- Monitor and optimize network performance
- Provide timely support and resolve network issues
Requirements:
- Experience with firewalls and firewalling
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in switching and routing
- Hands-on experience with Azure or OCI
- eSC or DV Clearance
The ideal candidate will also have a working Knowledge of some of the following:
- F5 Load Balancers and Fortinet products
- CCNP certification
- Datacenter operations
- Azure or OCI
- ServiceNow and SolarWinds
