Platinum OVER 18’s EXPERIENCED Back of House OPERATIVE



    Constellation Platinum is looking for experienced logistics personnel to support and grow our exclusive Back of House Operative team around London. This role will encompass three areas of expertise: Cellar, Kitchen and Logistics Porter. Our Back of House Operative team are confident individuals who are able to seamlessly transition between the three roles and take initiative on site to ensure that the venue is kept running at a high standard. We are looking for a knowledgeable, confident candidate who has enthusiasm and passion to work in a physically demanding environment and would like to expand their skill set and accelerate their vocation

    Constellation Platinum is a brand within the Compass Group that provides a Back of house team to selected premium sites in flagship London venues. We operate differently from others as you can choose the frequency that you work, meaning you have control over your schedule. Shifts ranging from 10 to 40+ hours per week, this can be altered at any time making the role perfect for those who are looking for flexibility.

    Experience & Knowledge:

    MUST HAVE 8-12 months experience within a BOH environment.

    – Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.

    – Flexible and dedicated.

    – Strong ethics and standards

    – Know how to use pallet truck.

    – Excellent management of time

    – The ability to remain calm and collected when busy

    – Confidence to interact and build relationships with colleagues & Venue management.

    Main Responsibilities:

    – Communicating with the back of house/Logistics team and front of house colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of event/function.

    · Setting up/breaking down of table plans etc at the venue, making sure that the correct equipment is there to do the job.

    · Assisting with the set up and clear down of your area, ready for the next service.

    · Kitchen duties that will include cleaning of all cooking utensils as required by the culinary team during preparation (mis-en-place) and service times.

    · Cleaning of kitchen work areas during and after use and removal of kitchen waste to the appropriate area.

    · Cellar duties including effective movement of stock around the venues, setting up retail units/bars, stock counting, changing beer kegs and casks.

    Comply with all company and unit policies with regards to

    · Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

    · Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with company policy.

    · Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness.


    – Over 18’s only

    – Must have minimum of 8-12 months experience working within a Back of House environment.

    – Think methodically and be able to work on own if required.
