Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead a classroom with a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and motivated to learn.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to foster a supportive and cohesive learning community.
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that adhere to the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Employ effective behaviour management techniques to ensure a classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Offer tailored support to students, including those with special educational needs or English as an additional language.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Communicate openly with parents and guardians, partnering with them to support their children’s educational journey.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering the academic and social development of children.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- The ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs.
