    Project Controller

    In your role as Business Administrator/Junior Project Controller you are involved in both the offer phase and the commercial and financial execution of orders and projects. You have daily contact with colleagues from many fields (e.g. project manager, sales manager and back-office) and share joint responsible for quotes, orders and projects. You have contact with suppliers, customers and with the various support departments like purchasing, logistics, legal and accounting.

    Snapshot of your day

    As a Business Administrator/ Junior Project Controller, you are responsible for owning the customer orders and projects and focus on important aspects like Sales & Cost controlling, risk, claim and cash management. In this role you will have the opportunity in the future to further develop into a Commercial Project Manager for larger projects. In this position you report to the Business Unit Finance Manager.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Execution of an accurate and complete project administration, including recording in the systems used for this purpose (SAP)
    • Support administration of stocks and creation and processing of purchase orders
    • Support the Project Manager in the execution of projects and be a partner for financial related topics
    • Support the Commercial Project Manager for larger projects
    • Preparing the financial overview for the periodical project meetings
    • Involving support departments when vital (e.g. Tax, Legal, Accounting)
    • Support negotiation with customers and suppliers about general terms and conditions
    • Contact person for the financial settlement of orders at the factories

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar background
    • Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills
    • You work accurately and in a structured manner and are able to work in a dynamic environment with ad hoc request and deadlines
    • Strong communicator and phenomenal teammate
    • Good knowledge of IT systems such as SAP and MS office (particularly Excel)
    • Good command of the Dutch and English language
