Project Management as a professional discipline
forms a backbone within the operational execution model of Siemens-Energy and,
as a discipline is supported and recognized with both internal and external
accreditation. Within the Aero Gas
Turbine business graduate roles are being sought to support opportunities
with both pure project management and business development workstreams – there
is a degree of overlap in the tasks hence the commonality of these roles under
this one selection process. From
internally focused projects that deliver solutions to support customer delivery
through direct end customer interaction with operational challenges to shaping
the future, the live tasks supported across all placements will provide
development and growth in an exciting service environment.
How
You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with a variety of
stakeholders in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT)
business in the delivery of internal and external customer requirements. - Challenging convention,
questioning the ‘norm’ and encouraging the business to innovate - Build your Continuous
Improvement skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma basics training and
owning/implementing continuous improvement initiatives. - Become an
active member within a team of Entry Level Talent
(Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business projects
through our culture hub. The scope of these projects will provide you with
valuable team working experiences and opportunities to enhance presentation
skills.
What You Bring
- Be on track to graduate with a 2:2 degree or above and have a passion for
order and organisation with exceptional communication skills - Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking
responsibility for live tasks and projects you’ve been assigned either
individually or as part of a physical or virtual team - Are flexible, know how to connect and communicate with others and pride
yourself on being positive - Are comfortable with change and able to react to unexpected challenges
with enthusiasm both as part of a team and whilst leading others - Willingness to embrace continuous improvement with the ability to
generate creative solutions to problems
About the Team
Both project management and business
development are embedded functions within the Aero Gas Turbine product line and
form integral parts of the overall customer delivery experience. The graduate programme will provide four
placements across this diverse portfolio to allow a broad experience to be
gained positioning you to explore what your future career direction under this
umbrella may be.
