    About the role

    The B2B IT Delivery team provides the governance and delivery execution of cross-functional programmes and projects for the company. This role is responsible for the end 2 end delivery leadership of one or more large complex programmes or a number of programmes or projects in accordance with agreed governance, reporting and operational KPIs.



    We’re looking for a Senior Programme Manager to provide the governance and delivery execution of cross-functional programmes and projects for VMO2.

    You will lead on the end 2 end delivery lifecycle for a programme of new and existing products from approval through design, development, integration, test, deployment

    The must haves

    In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

    • Proven programme and project management experience of multiple, complex projects
    • Experince leading a number of Project Managers in the successful delivery of a programme of projects and initiatives
    • Demonstrable expertise to delivering key activities and deliverables e.g. business cases, cost and benefit estimates, programme plans, identification and mitigation of delivery risk
    • Experience in Vendor Management – e.g. vendor statements of work, work packages and outcomes based contracts
    • Developed and maintained trusted relationships with key stakeholders up to Director level and the relevant managers within the technical teams that staff programs; UK management teams and Vendors
    • Experienced in financial control across multiple programmes; seeking out cost reduction opportunities, supervising and controlling financial spend with projects up to £10million in line with budget approvals
    • Able to demonstrate experience of leading and developing a team of circa 10 project managers, offering support and guidance where required
    • Knowledge of Cloud Technology or Salesforce or billing platforms

    The other stuff we’re looking for

    We’d also love you to bring;

    • A certification from a recognised professional body e.g. APM, PMI, IPMA
    • A good understanding and first-hand experience of traditional waterfall and agile project management methodologies used in the industry e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum
    • Advanced interpersonal skills are very important, such as being able to relate well to others, to offer constructive feedback to your team and to support and encourage others.
