Site Manager – Field Service

EAD is looking for a Site Manager with direct experience in servicing integrated industrial solutions with Automation technologies for the Marine, Oil & Gas, and Fiber industries.
The engineer who takes this position will be based at a customer’s site for the lifecycle of a commissioning project. The primary objective is to be the Siemens Energy liaison with the customer throughout the onsite phase of the project. Hands on testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting is also required. The engineer will coordinate with local engineering teams to recommend and deliver high quality technical solutions.
A successful engineer will have a strong educational and industrial background with a major focus in automation systems and extensive hands-on experience. A passion for the field and drive to learn and tackle new challenges is an absolute must. The experienced level engineer must be able to develop customer relationships, be accurate and detailed while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple people, calls and projects demanding attention and time. Candidate must also have the willingness to travel extensively in the US and work the hours needed on industrial job sites to complete the tasks at hand.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Scheduling daily work for the team around customer activities

Performing the onsite EHS lead and ensuring all processes are followed and documented

Collecting and reviewing all site reports and timesheets, gaining customer signatures and issuing to the Siemens Energy project manager.

Coordinating with resource managers to build sitework resource schedule

Logistics for receiving and sending material and test equipment to and from the customer site

Fault find, service and commission Siemens Energy integrated automation systems.

Learn the latest industrial solutions and new product developments within Siemens Energy

Must be proficient in planning workload and specific tasks and be able to achieve completion dates.

Interface directly to customers to answer questions and resolve issues.

Able to understand project-specific documentation (system and functional descriptions, test and commissioning procedures, etc.).

Collaborate with CAD and designers to test, commission, troubleshoot, and/or update integrated system drawings.
What You Bring
-
5+ years of relevant experience in Marine or a related industry is required
-
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field preferred
-
Automation Design, Service, or Commissioning Experience

You will preferably have

Power system design, service, commissioning experience
-
VFD design, service, commissioning experience
-
Marine, Drilling or Offshore production working experience.

Experience with Siemens Energy drives, Automation and Marine solutions
