A reputable and innovative manufacturer based in Lymington, is seeking a dynamic individual to lead a software team in the design, development, and delivery of groundbreaking products, applications, and services.
Snapshot of the Role:
As a Software Team Lead, you will provide exceptional people management and leadership within a multidisciplinary team environment. Your expertise in embedded software, combined with a solid understanding of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Python, will be crucial in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. You will also ensure your team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Technical Solutions:
Create comprehensive solutions that meet cost, specification, and quality targets.
Team Development:
Ensure all team members have the correct level of skills and knowledge.
Technical Reviews:
Actively participate in technical reviews, ensuring the highest standards.
Customer Engagement:
Respond appropriately to customer demands, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
Minimum 4 years in an engineering environment with embedded software experience.
UML & Python: Thorough understanding of UML and sound experience with Python.
Leadership:
Strong leadership and management skills with previous team management experience.
Communication:
Ability to present proposals and design documents effectively.
Product Development:
Experience with end-to-end product development is highly desirable.
