The Strategic Procurement
organization at Siemens Energy is a vital part of the company’s mission to
optimize its competitive position through the development and implementation of
effective procurement strategies. The Turbine Blade and Vanes team is responsible
for the sourcing and procurement of complex supply chains for the company’s gas
turbines, including investment castings, machining, and coatings. This
department plays a critical role in the company’s service-centric strategy and
has high visibility to top management.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate
with a global team and international suppliers across 20 different countries. - Define
and execute procurement strategies that enhance security of supply,
quality, and product cost. - Manage
and develop a global supply chain with internal and external suppliers. - Maintain
strong relationships with suppliers and their executive management. - Negotiate
large volume contracts and implement innovative negotiation strategies. - Analyze
the supply market and supplier capabilities to derive cost-effective solutions. - Lead
and participate in interdisciplinary workgroups and projects. - Take
ownership of special projects and present to Siemens Energy top management.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or engineering.
- 5+
years of experience in procurement or cross-functional roles. - Extensive
experience in procurement or cross-functional roles. - Knowledge
of gas turbine investment casting, precision machining, or thermal coating
a plus. - Strong
analytical and decision-making skills. - Excellent
communication and presentation abilities. - Willingness
to travel internationally (approximately 15%) - Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines
under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities
through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
