and implementing these solutions, that combine physics-based modelling with
advanced statistics and data science concepts. You provide training programs
for internal competence build-up and drive collaboration within a partner
ecosystem across industry and academia. As a leader, you are part of our transformation

team is looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and
AI professionals that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.
What
You Bring, skills capabilities.
- Advanced degree in one of the
following fields: Computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or
related. A PhD is considered a plus. - You demonstrate pronounced leadership
skills and have at least 2+ years of experience as a team lead - You have excellent analytical skills,
strategic thinking, and a profound expertise in physics-based simulations,
reliability modeling, failure analysis, and material modeling. - You demonstrate excellent programming
skills in C/C++, Python, R and a good understanding of numerical and
optimization methods - Good to have: Experience in an
industry-related environment (e.g. energy sector). - You have a strong customer focus and
excellent communication skills along. You navigate easily in a global &
multicultural environment including external partners. - You demonstrate exceptional leadership
and coaching skills to collaborate across multicultural, global teams and
develop engineering talent. - You are open-minded and willing to
learn and constantly improve own skills - You are passionate about data and
analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and
ecosystems - You have excellent writing and
communication skills in English, knowledge of German or any other language is a
plus.
How You’ll
Make an Impact
- Build up and lead a high performing
team of probabilistic modelling specialists
and data scientists to develop solutions for reliability-based decision
making in design and operation of plant components - Support the business with novel
simulation tools for optimized sustainability of products, solutions, and
maintenance concepts combining physics-based modeling with advanced statistics - Ensure quality & reliability
metrics are established and continuously refined - Provide support and guidance in risk
assessments across various areas of the business and drive the roll-out of
probabilistic modelling through training programs - Actively follow and evaluate new
technologies/methods in the field of machine learning to leverage new solutions
and understand latest trends - In a partner ecosystem, you
collaborate with universities, research institutes, and players in the industry
and engage in thought leadership - Document and present methodologies,
procedures, and project results to senior stakeholders across different functions - Be an active member of the leadership
team for Data & Analytics and coach & mentor engineers to help them
realize their full potential
