Waking Night Support Worker – Male only

    Greenway Road is a residential service for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and complex needs including behaviours that may challenge. The service uses a person-centred planning approach tailored towards individual needs and focused on outcomes. People will be supported to be as independent as possible and will work with staff to achieve their goals and aspirations. They will be supported to take part in meaningful activities that enrich their lives, and staff will work closely with health care professionals, families and the individual to deliver the best care possible.

    Location: Taunton, Somerset, TA2 

    Contract / Shifts available: Full time and part time

    Rate:  £9.80phr

    Due to the nature of this service we can only consider Male applicants (exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9), however, we will review your application for other services in the area.

    Salary: £9.80phr

    Your role is to:

    • Remain awake and alert throughout the night to ensure the safety of the people we support.
    • Monitor and promote sleep and wellbeing patterns.
    • Support with nightly tasks: such as medication and domestic duties.
