Water Hygiene Engineer – South West London Area
£26,000-£33,000 per annum + benefits (Depending on Experience)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Water Hygiene Engineer to join our award-winning team in South West London. We are committed to fostering professional growth and well-being, providing a supportive environment where your expertise is valued and your career development is encouraged.
Skills and Experience Required:
– Preferably NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in plumbing.- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.- A valid UK driving licence is essential.- Strong knowledge of the water treatment industry, including ACOP-L8 guidelines.- Successful completion of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and analyze closed water systems.- Perform scale inspections and descaling tasks.- Inspect and clean Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST) and cooling towers.- Service and inspect thermostatic mixer valves.- Collect water samples for Legionella testing.- Carry out reactive maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs), including temperature and heating system checks.- Willingness to travel for work across the M25 Motorway area.
