In celebration of SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary this year, the label-wide concert series SMTOWN LIVE returns to Europe for the first time in 14 years. This concert at London’s The O2 also marks the first ever SMTOWN LIVE show in the UK, bringing together an unprecedented range of stars from K-pop legends through to today’s hottest rising stars.
MINHO, along with his SHINee members, last performed in the UK in 2011 and in that same year, they also made history as the first Asian artist to ever perform at the historic Abbey Road Studios.
Widely-recognised as one of the most influential K-pop boy groups of our time, SHINee celebrated their 17th anniversary last month with the release of a new single ‘Poet | Artist’ and a trio of sold-out concerts in South Korea. Renowned for his magnetic presence, MINHO has carved an all-encompassing career in entertainment as a solo artist and actor in film, K-dramas and theatre. His debut full-length album, “Call Back”, released in November, hit Top 10 in South Korea and reached the top of the iTunes Album Chart in 14 countries. The release was also accompanied by his first solo concert.
