Ah, who doesn’t love the sound of white sandy beaches and some Pina Colada’s? Just imagine it; palm trees, the ocean blue and some sand in between your toes. From Bora Bora to Amsterdam, here are my best suggestions for a fantastic summer abroad. With pictures included because we couldn’t have some fantastic holiday destinations without some pictures to make your friends jealous!

Bora Bora

How many people haven’t thought of Bora Bora as the perfect island getaway? It literally looks like the island of dreams, my definition of paradise. This place is beautiful. Imagine sitting in your stilted bungalow on the turquoise lagoon with a Red Devil cocktail, containing only the best kinds of alcohol, Vodka and Peach Schnapps of course. One of the best romantic destinations by far, and if not in a romantic sense? The best place to go relaxing with the friends, especially since it has a big volcanic atoll.

The Bahamas

The Kardashians have definitely made most people jealous by their family holidays to the Bahamas. I would love to say that I’ve been to the Caribbean, it may be slightly on the pricey side, but going in June is reasonably cheaper than July and August… Watch out for stormy season! With amazing sand beaches and clear blue seas, there would be nothing like sitting on a sun lounger watching the sea and sky connecting in an amazing horizon.

Singapore, Marina Bay

This is one of the places that should be on everyone’s bucket list. There are so many things to see, Gardens by the Bay looks incredible, especially at night and I would highly recommend travelling there there. Ranging from an amazing skywalk over the gardens to sea-shell shaped greenhouses, this is a fantastic destination to travel to.

Miami

Miami is a beautiful destination to visit, especially if you’re looking to escape everyday life and winter! To keep nice, cool and fresh in the heat, just take a dip in the Atlantic, Biscayne Bay… Or just step into your fancy infinity pool. The night-life is fab and you can go celeb spotting on Lincoln road!

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of the student summer destinations, and don’t be too surprised! Grey skies are no more and festivals are finally arriving. With open garden days, traveler’s can visit private gardens and go bounding down the famous canal line, wanna go on an adventure? Get those Amsterdam tickets booked and walk those famous bridges with the stereotypical bike ride!
