    This company is a leading provider of residential care and education for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning, Physical Disabilities and complex needs with associated challenging behaviour. They operate a number of homes and a school across Lancashire, offering high-quality environments that put young people at the centre of the programmes they operate.

    They are currently looking for a residential support worker to join their team at their home in Ingleton on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for providing care and support to the young people in their home, helping them with their physical, emotional, social and educational needs. You will also act as a positive role model and work closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their potential.

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in health and social care or childcare, or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience of working with children or young people in a residential setting, preferably with special needs
  • A good understanding of the needs and challenges of the young people we support
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, including working shifts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
