    We are looking for a Corporate Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer
    to join us at one of corporate headquarters in Warrington, with some occasional travel to other sites

    The role

    To provide support and assistance to all Tradebe UK sites on all aspects of E, C & I Design, improve and engineer control systems Ability to diagnose control issues and optimise plant for improved throughputs Lead functional safety management plan for Tradebe UK sites. Lead EC&I development projects across multiple sites and provide guidance and advise to site engineering teams where needed

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES

    Ensure common control system strategies and equipment are implemented across allTradebe UK sites. Advise on new or different control and instrumentation techniques, which could improvethe Safety, Compliance, Operability, Maintainability or Profitability of Tradebe UKOperations. Take a lead role in the development and implementation of Functional Safety for TradebeUK Oversee the management of functional safety across sites. Liaise with authorities, regulatory and other bodies to ensure legal compliance; Ensure the effective design and functioning of and response to Functional SafetyPerformance Indicators. Disseminate learning and improvements on functional safety between sites.

    The person

    In order to be successful in this role, you will be required to do the following:

    Keep abreast of legislative and technical changes with potential to effect the operation ofthe business, where appropriate report on relevant issues with recommendations andguidance on actions to be taken. Conduct regular audits of sites to monitor site performance against standards Identify any areas in which sites are not compliant with standards and suggest solutionsand improvements To assist in the development of new plant and process control strategies. Identifynecessary equipment and suppliers and produce estimated project costs. Perform and / or assist the design and installation of new projects as required, ensuringnew installations comply with the relevant standards and procedures. Propose and implement effective design solutions to address process and productionneeds. Produce regular reports showing progress against individual targets Provide functional safety engineering support and knowledge to sites. Overseeing the company’s Power systems on a varied size & types of sites which includeHazardous, zoned areas as well safe areas.
