    Hays Senior Finance are working with this public sector organisation in Shrewsbury to recruit a Finance Manager.Your new role
    The organisation will consider someone on either a full-time or part-time (30 hours a week) basis and the job will be a hybrid role.The duties for this great position will involve:

    • Producing management accounts
    • Planning audit meetings
    • Creating and collating payroll information for external accountants, calculating pay and checking deductions
    • Preparing costs for new bids
    • Budgeting
    • Managing all aspects of the year-end audit VAT returns
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Accruals and Prepayments
    • Journal
    • Purchase ledger
    • Sales ledger
    • Cashflow forecasting
    • Balance sheet reconciliations

    What you’ll need to succeed
    The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role, and they will be available to work in an office 2 days a week.What you’ll get in return
    This job comes with a full-time equivalent salary of £40,000 – £42,000 per annum depending on experience, as well as hybrid working and 28 days’ holiday + bank holidays.What you need to do now
