General Manager – SHVC

    Location: Hangzhou 
    We are seeking the General Manager who will be heading our SHVC, with business volume around 1.2 Billion RMB, company size around 300 employee, Reporting to the head of SGC. You will lead highly engaged teams by providing strategic vision and leadership to implement ongoing projects and drive growth for an excellent product portfolio.
    You will be having overall corporate responsibility for all functions and Business activities for SHVC. Leads the organization to obtain optimal result in terms of profit, growth and innovation through the best use of human resources, technical and financial means, within the framework of the JV/AC strategy and the approved Budget. Determines the strategic direction for SHVC.
    How You’ll Make an Impact
    Provides strategic leadership and fosters high level performance in the delivery of Switchgear solutions across all factories.  
    Overall Profit & Loss responsibility for the factory, including Statutory P&L responsibility for SHVC as an independent legal Entity.
    Designs, implements, and continuously monitors organizational growth plans to increase revenue, market share, and profit margins.
    Lead teams to achieve the agreed financial business targets. This will include drawing up and agreeing Business Target Agreements (BTAs) for the local Business Units and New order planning in compliance with the business regulations.
    Develop strategy for the factory in China, aligned with the regional cluster and ensure implementation. These strategies could include defining target markets / segments and/or develop specific approaches to enter / grow in these market segments.
    Show expert knowledge of the product portfolio and full understanding of the market, customer needs, partner activity and use this knowledge to forecast realistic sales/marketing activities to achieve business targets; maintaining the sales database, ensuring the quality of market data and trends. Consistent, realistic, and clear monthly planning and forecasting is a must.
    Assessment and development of the competencies, in particular for your team, and ensure active employee engagement through development, training and in-house initiatives.
    Provides leadership that aligns and challenges the workforce, encourages loyalty and promotes fulfillment of the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
    Ensure strict adherence to compliance and business conduct guidelines, and other business processes throughout the organization, and represents the business in relationships with local, state and federal governing agencies.
    What You Bring  
    Has experience in complex project business, such as complete systems or similar.
    > 5 years mgmt. experiences with high level of social and leadership skills. Uses the matrix organization well to further develop the business. 
    Has worked successfully > 3 years internationally with responsibility for employees, project business, processes. Worked successfully with people of other cultures.
    Have good knowledge of business portfolio, advanced understanding of JV/OC and understanding of Siemens Energy and portfolio and a good overview of market and manufacturing (including competition and price situation) and future trends in the relevant market sector. 
    Have knowledge of global business management, e.g. regarding planning, financing, terms and conditions, project management, Operation Management, etc. 
    Professional experience in different function (e.g. sales, PM, production and Engineering etc.)
    Bachelor degree and above. Master is a plus
    Good command of English speakin
