    Found Recruitment Solutions is currently partnered with a world leading engineering company based in West Sussex. We are looking to add a key management hire to the team by recruiting either an experienced Engineer looking for a management role, an Operations Manager with engineering sector experience or an Engineering Manager into leadership role based on site. This role offers exceptional progression with a clear pathway to Director laid out from day one!

    This market leading organisation specialises in the manufacture of high-precision electromagnetic devices for the science and healthcare sectors.

    Key responsibilities for the Operations Manager:

    • P&L responsibility and day to day management of the gradient coil division
    • Being the main point of contact for key customers, suppliers and other departmental leads
    • In charge of the production and operational activities on site, for the areas under your management, ensuring the Company’s performance objectives are superseded
    • Motivating and leading manufacturing, engineering and supply chain teams to deliver World Class performance
    • Working with other Managers and contacts across the business and other group companies, to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded
    • Developing new and existing customers for the future success of the Business

    To apply to work as our next Operations Manager please ensure you have the following:

    • A relevant senior management background in the manufacture of highly technical products
    • Educated preferably, but not necessarily, to PhD level
    • A Clear and defined communication style, you must possess a natural ability to communicate fluently in written reports and spoken presentations to an international customer base, on both a technical and business level
    • Excellent Commercial Awareness
    • You should be a determined individual with the desire to achieve success by leading through others and continuously communicating with customers

    For a role of this stature, it will be important that the successful candidate can provide an element of flexibility around working hours, with some light travel expectations and the occasional out of hours call required. Generally speaking, the hours are on a Monday to Friday basis during the day as per the units production schedule.
