About the Role
You will be part of a multi-disciplined Engineering team to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective products and tooling from initial conceptual stage to introduction.
Being a design led point of reference, you will be a pivotal part of the design function to develop new tools and improve the existing ones for the manufacturing process of products, as well as optimising manufacturing operations by lowering the cost of tools and equipment without undermining compliance with safety and reliability standards.
Being involved in the NPI process both internally and externally liaising with 3rd parties for products such as synthetic and ceramic sinks, waste kits and packaging.
- Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline
- Proven experience within a similar role
- Fully conversant with Product and Tool Design
- Analytical skills
- Proficient in CAD/CAM/Solidworks or similar
- Ability to effectively contribute to the project teams
- Understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001 and CE standards
- Good level of communication both verbal & written
AGA are looking for a capable, experienced hands-on Product and Tool Design Engineer that is fully conversant with Solidworks or associated PMD systems, as well as materials, specifications and processes for the generation and introduction of new products and features.
