    Pump Engineer

    Job Description

    A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional full time Pump Engineer for one of the capitals leading maintenance service companies in Oxfordshire and counties. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Engineer to join their team.

    We are looking for candidates with extensive mechanical knowledge to install and provide ongoing maintenance. You will also be responsible for diagnosing problems and maintaining groundwater pumping systems, so a proven background in field diagnosis and repair is essential.

    Long term we are looking to build this division and seek candidates who are looking to grow with the business allowing future expansion and progression to management level plus.

    Responsibilities

    • Performing Onsite Maintenance and Repairs and servicing to water pumps
    • Dealing with Electrical and Mechanical elements of the systems
    • Completing Relevant Paperwork
    • Providing feedback to relevant departments of parts used
    • Liasing with customers on site
    • Fault finding
    • Installing, commissioning & testing of new installations. and full installation of both foul and surface water & clean water pumps & systems

    Requirements

    • Valid CSCS Card preferred but not essential.
    • A valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
    • Qualifications in either mechanical and/or electrical disciplines.

    Skills

    • Experience working in the sewage treatment industry or a similar engineering role.
    • Ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments.
