    DC Personnel have a new and exciting permanent opportunity to work with our well established client in Leicester as their new Quality Manager. Salary : 40 – 50k Hours : 08:15-17:00 Monday-Thursday & 08:15-13:00 Friday. Benefits : 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, competitive pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, Health cash plan & life insurance As Quality Manager you will be responsible in ensuring that the entirety of the companies collection of products are fit for purpose and consistent meeting all requirements set both legally and in-house along with fulfilling and surpassing customer expectations. Responsibilities: Ensure all necessary systems and procedures are in place along, keeping up to date with current regulations and amending efficiently when required Point of contact for any warranty issues, reporting to relevant departments and implementing measures to be taken to avoid future issues Working with other departments effectively, communicating any concerns or improvements that could be made Manage all quality related issues within the manufacturing and engineering teams Produce reports, for performance, presentations, meetings and any other requirements that may arise Any other duties not listed commensurate with the requirements of the business. Experience required: Proven experience in a similar role within an automotive environment with knowledge of quality systems Relevant qualifications at degree level preferred or A level/BTEC Diploma Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, Failure Mode & Effect Analysis Good understanding on technical drawings and the process of manufacturing Ability to problem solve, prioritise and plan Excellent communication skills Good understanding of costs and their financial impacts Ability to work in a diverse environment and manage a multifunctional team Understanding of health and safety practices.
