    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting pupils with autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour within a primary school setting.
    • Developing and executing individualised support plans tailored to the needs of autistic pupils.
    • Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure pupils’ requirements are addressed.
    • Providing training and guidance to staff on optimal approaches for supporting autistic pupils.
    • Coordinating with external agencies and professionals to secure appropriate support for pupils.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience working with autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
    • Knowledge of autism and related conditions.
    • Understanding of strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and stakeholders.
