    We create memories that our guests never forget.  At Hotel Du Vin Cambridge we always go above and beyond the expectations and as Sales and Events Manager you will be the face of the business, often before the guest steps foot in the hotel.

    The main purpose of this role is to maximize revenue performance and achieve budgets through local pro-active sales actions, supporting and managing inbound enquiries, contract events business and ensure the smooth planning and implementation of events with appropriate documentation. 

    Experience in a similar role and style of hotel is beneficial. 

    A few key objectives;

    A good working knowledge of the local area and networks is essential with which you will use to develop new business opportunities and to develop local relationships, which in turn will drive revenue and awareness.

    Engagement with the local community as well as regional and national corporate clients will be key to your success in this role.

    You would pro-actively manage social media on property, looking at ways to engage with the local community, raise awareness and engagement.

    Support the development, execution and maintenance of the property Sales & Marketing Plan and also management and conversion of enquiries, working closely with the Hotel and Central M&E Teams as appropriate.

    You would create clear event documentation which ensures the smooth running of events and communication throughout the departments in the property.

    You would support the weekly M&E forecast by creating business blocks to the required standard and with accurate revenue forecasts for each block.

    To achieve annual and quarterly KPIs, personal revenue targets and hotel budget performance
