Episode 3: DJ Jaguar Worldwide on Life as a DJ; University & Gender Diversity

Jaguar is a broadcaster, journalist and DJ that represents the next wave of emerging talent. She celebrates diversity to a worldwide, conscious audience, in an era of cultural awakening. Her aim is to inspire her generation and provide new artists an opportunity to flourish through her roles at BBC Music Introducing, Mixmag and her Reprezent Radio shows. Everything Jaguar does is with an authentic energy and positivity like no other.

Jaguar is a cornerstone part of BBC Music Introducing, as a presenter on BBC Three Counties Radio, as well as working behind the scenes for the BBC’s core music platform.  Jaguar is also recognised as the host and face of Mixmag’s world-famous office party, The Lab LDN.

Last year, the young DJ caught the eye of supreme selector, The Black Madonna, who mentored her, as part of Smirnoff’s #EqualisingMusic programme. With momentum building, Jaguar has since played sets across the globe at Lost Village Festival, Glastonbury, Printworks, Dimensions, Leeds Festival and multiple sets for Radio 1 in Ibiza.

Jaguar offers her voice to hosting panels with brands such as Resident Advisor, while representing the future of dance music and works closely with the International Music Summit in Ibiza. She also is passionate about supporting and contributing to the LGBTQ+ community: whether that’s making a Radio 1 documentary exploring LGBTQ+ clubbing spaces, teaming up with Gay Times for London Pride, or interviewing icons like Munroe Bergdorf for the NSPCC.

Jaguar is now a rising star in the music and media spheres. She is spurred on by a genuine passion for life and a spark for adventure, leaving the future extremely bright for this young tastemaker.
