If you are searching for a wish list this Christmas, you are in for a treat…and definitely one to add to your bucket list!
As an avid player of World of Warships, and EVE Online, I could not wait to get my hands on the new Sennheiser GSP 550 Gaming Headset. However, in order to truly do justice to this amazing piece of tech, i did my due diligence with Dolby Surround Test. The only word that comes to mind is WOW, added by a continuation of this word for a full 5 minutes of awe!!
The sound is absolutely astounding. The depth and clarity of sound that explodes from the speakers is exceptional, classy, crisp and beautifully refined.
However, it is not just the sound that imparts such an impressive impact. It is the whole experience behind the 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset. The design and feel of the headset is equally impressive, the type of awe you get when you open up a new toy for the first time, and just sit, stare and think, how cool is this!
The headset’s design is very comfortable and offers plenty of breathing space on your ears.
From a Gaming perspective, the audio is greatly positioned which provides an advantage over other online players not utilizing a sound system with more encompassing sound that gives you a truly full gaming experience.

The GSP 550 also includes Sennheiser software downloads, which i would recommend especially if you have specific preferences you would like to fine tune your sound profiles to.
I personally did’nt find i needed to do any fine tuning myself, as the setup from the start is perfect from the get go, and thus I found i did not have need for it.
As for the microphone, the sound is very clear, and comes across very natural.
